Delete a Pay Type

Delete a Pay Type

🎯 System Default Pay Types cannot be deactivated or deleted. However, they can be hidden from the Payee Master File and Process (Step 3 of Pay Day).

 

  1. Select Pay Types.
  2. Select User Modified.
  3. Locate the Pay Type you require by manually scrolling through the Pay Type List, entering the name into Search or using Show Advanced Filters.
    1. If required, ​​​​​select Show Advanced Filters, then select Inactive and deselect Active.
  4. If the Pay Type is not already Inactive, select Actions > Edit; otherwise, select Delete.
    1. Deselect Active.
    2. Select Save.
    3. Once the Pay Type is inactive, select Actions > Delete.
  5. The Delete Pay Type Alert (Modal) is displayed.
  6. Select Ok to delete the Pay Type.
