Add a Director's Agreement

🎯 When a Director is not covered by an Award or Agreement, they are considered award and agreement-free. However, they are entitled to the National minimum wage and National Employment Standards (NES). Based on this, we recommend that National Employment Standards (NES) be selected in the Underpinning Award or if you are a Closely Held Employee (CHP). Also, if you are a CHP, you can enter any Rate per Hour that suits your needs.

 

Select Awards/Agreements.

 

Select + Add Award/Agreement.

 

Select Agreement.

Select the Underpinning Award required based on the Director's Agreement. Usually, National Employment Standards (NES) is selected.

 

Enter the Agreement Name required based on the Director's Agreement. Most often Director's Agreement is entered.

 

🎯 To add a new Agreement Name, type the name, then press enter on your keyboard OR select as shown above.

 

Enter the Classification required per the Director's Agreement. Enter Director or another appropriate position suitable for your specific situation.

 

Change the OTE Hours Per Week per the Director's Agreement. In situations where the Director is not paid Ordinary Time, you can leave this set to 38.00.

 

Change the Days Per Week per the Director's Agreement. In situations where the Director is not paid Ordinary Time, you can leave this set to 5.00.

 

Enter the Rate Per Hour OR Annual Salary (Excluding SG) per the Director's Agreement.  In situations where the Director is not paid Ordinary Time, enter $1.00 in Rate Per Hour.

👉 If the Director is not entitled to leave, select Directors Agreement (Leave Entitlements not mandatory), then select Save. 

 

Otherwise, select Leave Entitlements.

 

Change the number of weeks of Annual Leave the Payee is entitled for each year of Employment and change the Accrual Method, as required.

 

Change the number of days of Sick & Carer's Leave the Payee is entitled for each year of Employment and change the Accrual Method, as required.

 

Enter the number of years of service and the number of weeks of Long Service Leave the payee is entitled and change the Accrual Method, as required.

 

Change the number of days of Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave (PFDVL) the Payee is entitled for each year of Employment. The Accrual Method cannot be changed based on the Government's requirements.

 

Enter the number of days of Rostered Days Off the Payee is entitled for each year of Employment and change the Accrual Method, as required.

 

Select Save.
