Awards/Agreements - Agreement File

The Agreement File is accessible when Add Award or Actions > Edit are selected, and contains two sections;

  1. Agreement Details.
  2. Leave Entitlements.

Agreement Details

 

Active allows you to select whether this Award is inactive. If it is assigned to an Active Payee, the checkbox is disabled.

 

Then the E.A. Button is selected, the Fair Work Commission Enterprise Agreement Lookup opens.

 

Underpinning Award requires you to select the Award the base requirements were obtained from when creating the Agreement.

 

The Link Icon is displayed next to Underpinning Award once an option has been selected, and opens the URL for the specific Award you have selected.

e.g., Clerks—Private Sector Award 2020 {MA000002}.

 

 

Agreement Name requires you to enter the name as required manually.

 

Classification requires you to manually select or enter the Classification, as required.

 

OTE Hours Per Week is automatically populated with 38.00 and allows you to change, as required.

 

Days Per Week is automatically populated with 5.00 and allows you to change, as required.

 

​​​​Rate Per Hour allows you to manually enter the Full Time Rate for the Classification under this Agreement.

 

Annual Salary (Excluding SG) is dynamically calculated based on the OTE Hours Per Week multiplied by the Rate Per Hour. This field also allows you to manually enter the required Annual Salary to dynamically calculate the Rate per Hour.

 

Hours Per Day is dynamically calculated based on the OTE Hours Per Week divided by the Days Per Week.

 

Per Week (estimate) is dynamically calculated based on the OTE Hours Per Week multiplied by the Rate Per Hour.

 

State allows you to select the State to which the Agreement is applicable. An Agreement may sometimes apply in multiple states, but the Rate per Hour differs.

 

Directors Agreement (Leave Entitlements not mandatory) allows you to select if this Agreement is for a Director. In this case, the rules in Leave Entitlements are disabled.

Leave Entitlements

The Leave Entitlements Accordion consists of the following sections;

  1. Annual Leave.
  2. Sick & Carer's Leave.
  3. Long Service Leave.
  4. Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave (PFDVL).
  5. Rostered Days off (RDO).

Annual Leave

 

 

Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment defines the number of Weeks Annual Leave the Payee is entitled to for each year of Employment.

 

Which accrues determines how Annual Leave accrues;

  • Per Hour (Pro Rata) - For each 'hour' the Payee works, Annual Leave will increase by a set amount, automatically calculated by the software based on the value entered into Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment.
  • Per Pay Period (Lump Sum) - Regardless of the Payee's work hours, Annual Leave will increase by a set amount, automatically calculated by the software based on the value entered into Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment.
  • on Anniversary of Commencement Date (Lump Sum) - When the Payee's Commencement Date is included in a pay run. Annual Leave will increase by the value outlined in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment.

 

Entitlement (in Hours) details the entitlement to Annual Leave;

  • Hourly displays the dynamically calculated Hourly Rate Payees accrue Annual Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment.
  • Weekly displays the dynamically calculated Weekly Rate Payees accrue Annual Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment.
  • Fortnightly displays the dynamically calculated Fortnightly Rate Payees accrue Annual Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment.
  • Monthly displays the dynamically calculated Monthly Rate Payees accrue Annual Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment.
  • Quarterly displays the dynamically calculated Quarterly Rate Payees accrue Annual Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment.
  • Yearly displays the dynamically calculated Yearly Rate Payees accrue Annual Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Annual Leave Per Year of Employment.

 

Sick & Carer's Leave.

 

Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Sick & Leave Per Year of employment defines the number of Days Sick & Carer's Leave the Payee is entitled to for each year of Employment.

 

Which accrues determines how Sick & Carer's Leave accrues;

  • Per Hour (Pro Rata) - For each 'hour' the Payee works, the Leave Balance will increase by the value in Hourly.

  • Per Pay Period (Lump Sum) - Regardless of the Payee's work hours, the Leave balance will increase by the value in Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly or Quarterly.

  • on Anniversary of Commencement Date (Lump Sum) - When the Payee's Commencement Date is included in a pay run. the Leave balance will increase by the value outlined in Yearly.

  • Per Annum, Limited to Yearly Entitlement (Anniversary of Commencement Date) - When the Payee's Commencement Date is included in a pay run. the Leave balance will increase/decrease to match the value in Yearly.

 

Entitlement (in Hours) details the entitlement to Sick & Carer's Leave;

  • Hourly displays the dynamically calculated Hourly Rate at which Payees accrue Leave based on the value entered in . Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Sick & Leave Per Year of employment.

  • Weekly displays the dynamically calculated weekly rate at which payees accrue leave based on the value entered . Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Sick & Leave Per Year of employment.

  • Fortnightly displays the dynamically calculated Fortnightly Rate at which Payees accrue Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Sick & Leave Per Year of employment.

  • Monthly displays the dynamically calculated monthly rate at which payees accrue leave based on the value entered . Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Sick & Leave Per Year of employment.

  • Quarterly displays the dynamically calculated Quarterly Rate at which Payees accrue Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Sick & Leave Per Year of employment.

  • Yearly displays the dynamically calculated Annual Rate at which Payees accrue Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Sick and leave Per Year of employment.

 

Long Service Leave

 

Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service defines the years the Payee must work before they are entitled to the total number of Weeks Leave.

 

Accrual Method determines how Long Service Leave accrues;

  • Per Hour (Pro Rata) - For each 'hour' the Payee works, Long Service Leave will increase by a set amount, automatically calculated by the software based on the values entered into Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service.

  • Per Pay Period (Lump Sum) - Regardless of the 'hours' the Payee works, Long Service Leave will increase by a set amount,  automatically calculated by the software based on the values entered into Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service.

  • on Anniversary of Commencement Date (Lump Sum) - When the Payee's Commencement Date is 'included' in a pay run. Long Service Leave will increase by a set amount,  automatically calculated by the software based on the values entered into Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service.

 

Entitlement (in Hours) details the entitlement to Long Service Leave;

  • Hourly displays the dynamically calculated Hourly Rate Payees accrue Long Service Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service.

  • Weekly displays the dynamically calculated Weekly Rate Payees accrue Long Service Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service.

  • Fortnightly displays the dynamically calculated Fortnightly Rate Payees accrue Long Service Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service.

  • Monthly displays the dynamically calculated Monthly Rate Payees accrue Long Service Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service.

  • Quarterly displays the dynamically calculated Quarterly Rate Payees accrue Long Service Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service.

  • Yearly displays the dynamically calculated Yearly Rate Payees accrue Long Service Leave based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Weeks Long Service Leave after 0.0 Years of Service.

 

 

Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Domestic Violence Leave Per Year of employment defines the number of days Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave (PFDVL) the Payee is entitled to for each year of Employment.

 

Which accrues determines how Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave (PFDVL) accrues. Based on the government's requirements, this field is hard-coded to on Anniversary of Commencement Date (Lump Sum) - When the Payee's Commencement Date is included in a pay run. Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave (PFDVL) will increase by the value outlined in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Domestic Violence Leave Per Year of employment.

 

Entitlement (in Hours) details the entitlement to Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave (PFDVL) Leave;

  • Hourly displays the dynamically calculated Hourly Rate Payees accrue Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave (PFDVL) based on the value entered in Payees are entitled to 0.00 Days Domestic Violence Leave Per Year of employment.
