Jury Duty (Incorrect Hours)

🎯 Jury Duty (Incorrect Hours) increases the leave balances. If the Leave Balances do not need to be increased, Jury Duty (Incorrect Rate) should be used instead.

🎯 If you are unsure if this Pay Type applies to your circumstances, please refer to the Payee's Employment Contract or obtain advice from the Australian Taxation Office or Fair Work Ombudsman.

Jury Duty (Incorrect Hours) applies when the Payee was underpaid for Jury Duty in a prior pay period due to incorrect hours being recorded in the Pay Run.

Payments with this Pay Type use the $ (or % of Rate Per Hour) set within the Pay Rate, and Leave Entitlements are not applicable. These payments are considered W1 (Total of Salary, Wages, and other payments), Taxable, and OTE (SGAA).
