Pay Periods Processed in Advance (e.g., Closed for Christmas Period)

Due to how the Regular Pay Run Dates function, each pay run should be processed individually, and the Pay Day can be changed, if required.

Alternatively, multiple pay runs can be paid 'together'. However;

  1. The PAYGW Adjustment may need to be added in the Payee's Pay to amend the PAYGW as the Withholding from leave payments for continuing employees calculation has not been added yet.
  2. Once the business reopens, the Regular Pay Run Dates must be updated in the Organisation.

👉 If the Period End Date needs to be changed, an Out of Cycle Pay Run can be processed instead of a Regular Pay Run.

🎯 Please note, there is inbuilt validation for the dates, which means that a Pay Period cannot be longer than a certain number of days.

  • Weekly = 7 Days.
  • Fortnightly = 14 Days.
  • Monthly = 1 Calendar Month.
  • Quarterly = 3 Calendar Months.
